Dr. Philippe H. Morisseau, DMDA native of North Smithfield, RI, Philippe H. Morisseau began his college career by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island School of Pharmacy. He then pursued further education at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Morisseau has extensive experience in dental implants, Lumineers porcelain veneers, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Morisseau is an associate fellow in the American Institute of Implant Dentistry, and is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Rhode Island Dental Association, the South County Dental Association, and the Providence Plantations Study Club. He regularly attends continuing education courses and seminars, and continually strives to incorporate modern dental techniques and technology into his practice.
When’s he’s not creating healthy, beautiful smiles, Dr. Morisseau enjoys reading, movies, taking spin classes, biking, participating in Boy Scouts with his children, and spending time with his family.
Melissa DeJoseph, Office ManagerAfter working with our team here at Dr. Morisseau’s office from 2001-2006, Melissa rejoined our office staff at the start of 2009, and continues to function as our capable office manager who keeps everything running smoothly. A native of North Smithfield, Melissa attended the University of Rhode Island, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Child Development, and later graduated from Tufts University Radiology Certification Program. When she’s not working at the practice, she enjoys walking, traveling with her husband Jason, aerobics, real estate, reading, wine tasting, going to the beach, and sewing.

A dedicated dental assistant, Bridget joined our office in 2000. She assists Dr. Morisseau with chairside procedures and ensures that our patients remain comfortable and at ease throughout their visit. Bridget completed Tufts University Radiology Certification Program, and is continually looking to broaden her skill set to better serve our patients. Away from the office, Bridget enjoys spending time with her daughter, Sheree, and their family’s cat.

Meredith came on board at Dr. Morisseau’s office in 2009. She holds certification in dental assisting, which she earned from Community College of Rhode Island, and is currently working toward an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene there, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from Providence College. Through a combination of education and experience, Meredith always strives for excellence in her field. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, reading, running, going to the beach, and boating.

Alicia has worked in the dental field since 2001, and came on board with us in 2008. Her education includes attending Community College of Rhode Island and completing Tufts University Radiology Certification Program. In her free hours, Alicia enjoys spending time with friends, staying fit, walking, fishing, reading, and singing. Alicia lives in Warwick with her daughter, Arianna.

A member of our experienced dental hygiene team since 2005, Rachele holds an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Community College of Rhode Island, and is currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Sciences at the University of Rhode Island. She enjoys helping our patients achieve and maintain dental health, as well as empowering them to care for their teeth effectively at home. When she’s not keeping our patients’ teeth clean, Rachele spends time walking her dogs, antiquing with her mother, and traveling with friends. She shares her home with two dogs, Sadie and Taiula, and one cat, Michael.

Robin began serving our patients as one of Dr. Morisseau’s dental assistants in 2000. In 2009, she completed her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and started her new duties as one of our dental hygienists. Robin looks forward to continuing to grow in the dental profession while making sure our patients stay healthy. Robin lives with in Exeter with her husband. The family shares their house with a dog, Molly, and a cat, Bella.

Bonnie has over thirty years of experience as a dental hygienist, and joined our team in 1999. Originally from Baltimore, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene, and a Master’s Degree in Health Education from Rhode Island College. When she’s not maintaining our patients’ smiles at the office, Bonnie enjoys walking, traveling, gardening, and spending time with her husband, Stanley, her children, Jason and Stacy, as well as Julie, the family’s dog.
