New Patients
A First Visit
We look forward to welcoming you as a new patient. At your first visit, plan to spend about an hour in our North Kingstown, RI office. Dr. Morisseau will fully evaluate your mouth, perform an oral cancer screening, and discuss any dental issues you’ve been experiencing. Treatment planning usually occurs at this initial appointment. To help illustrate what’s going on inside your mouth, we use intraoral cameras. We believe that educated patients make great dental partners, so feel free to ask questions at any time.
If you’ve visited a dentist regularly for checkups and cleanings, one of our hygienists will clean your teeth after your examination. If it’s been a while since your last dentist appointment, don’t worry, you won’t be judged! We’ll get you back on track by taking digital X-rays and checking for signs of gum disease or other problems. If we find that you show signs of gum disease, we will schedule your hygiene visit at a separate time.
