Frequently Asked Questions

Our patients ask us interesting questions every single day, so we decided to include answers to some of the most common ones right here on our website. If you have a dental question that we haven’t touched on here, no problem, just give us a call and ask! Our team is always happy to talk to you.

How often should I visit the dentist?

Both Dr. Verbeyst and Dr. Morisseau recommend that patients of all ages should visit the dentist at least twice a year for routine checkups and cleanings. These preventive appointments are quick, easy, and they are the most conservative and effective method for preventing tooth decay, cavities, gum disease, and more.

Do you accept child patients?

Yes we do! Aesthetic Dentistry of Wickford is happy to treat your entire family, including its youngest members. We have a fun and child-friendly office as well as a number of kid-centric treatments designed to keep growing smiles healthy and strong through every stage of development.

What is the best way to replace my missing teeth?

The answer to this question will really depend on your individual situation, but in most cases, we would recommend dental implants to anyone who is interested in rebuilding their smile. They are the only treatment that fully restores a tooth from root to crown, providing a result that is virtually indistinguishable from a natural tooth. We can use them to replace any number of teeth, and with the proper maintenance, they can easily last for 30 years or more.

I broke one of my teeth! What should I do?

Try to find any large portions of your tooth that have fallen out and give Aesthetic Dentistry of Wickford a call right away. We’re happy to see emergency patients the same day that they call in, and we’ll likely be able to fix your problem using a dental crown or filling. Either way, give us a call, and we’ll take care of you as soon as possible!

How long does it take to have a broken/decayed tooth repaired?

We can completely restore a tooth in just one appointment! For smaller amounts of damage, a tooth-colored filling can easily take care of it, but if a tooth needs a little more help, we may need to cap it with a CEREC dental crown. Either way, thanks to our advanced technology, both procedures can be completed in as little as one visit to our office!

Will you accept my insurance?

Yes, our practice is in-network with some of the most popular dental insurance plans in the state, and we also accept a long list of private insurances. No matter what type of plan you have, we’ll work to maximize your benefits at every visit. To see how we can use your particular plan, give us a call today.
